Bangkok, 15 January 2014 – Country Group Development PCL (“CGD”), represented by Ben Teachaubol, Chief Executive Officer, provided lunch and donation as well as educational materials to the Pattaya Redemptorist School for the Blind in Pattaya, one of eleven schools for blind and visually impaired children in the Kingdom of Thailand.

Founded in 1986 by Father Ray, the Pattaya Redemptorist School for the Blind has provided education to over five hundred blind and visually impaired children since its opening. The school provides free residential schooling for underprivileged children who would otherwise receive no education. Graduating students have found employment and are now able to live independent lives.

Mr.Ben Teachaubol said: “The Pattaya Redemptorist School for the Blind is a great example of how to assist and improve the lives of those less fortunate and we are proud to be able to support their efforts through our own funding and by encouraging our employees to also make a contribution to such a worthy cause.”
