Bangkok, Thailand – February 25 2016: Thailand-based international real estate developer Country Group Development PCL (CGD) today launched Gourmet Dinner 2016, an inaugural event showcasing elite Four Seasons chefs at the show gallery of Four Seasons Private Residences Bangkok at Chao Phraya River.

Held over four days, the exclusive dinner series offers guests a glimpse into the exclusive Four Seasons-inspired lifestyle buyers can expect at the Chao Phraya Estate, which when completed in 2018 will feature Four Seasons Private Residences Bangkok at Chao Phraya River and two ultra-luxury hotels including Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River.

The THB32 billion development will span over 350 meters of waterfront across 35-2-68 Rai (14.2 acres), making it one of the largest waterfront plots of land in Bangkok’s CBD area.

The Gourmet Dinner 2016 at Four Seasons Private Residences Bangkok at Chao Phraya River will be an annual event held each February, with the maiden occasion this year featuring two culinary talents from Four Seasons Hotel Seoul in South Korea, Chef Loris Pistillo who helms the highly successful rustic Italian experience Boccalino and celebrated Cantonese Chef Wu of Yu Yuan restaurant.

Country Group Development PCL Director and CEO, Ben Taechaubol said the aim of launching the Gourmet Dinner series with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts was to create an annual experience celebrating fine dining, the Four Seasons lifestyle and pre-empt the opening of the Waterfront Promenade when world-class bars and restaurants would line the banks of the Chao Phraya River.

“Four Seasons is a perfect brand match for the development as it is here we will establish a new benchmark for meaningful luxury that our cultured buyers will recognise, relate to and appreciate,” he said. “We share a clear vision together, a synthesis of ideas and common goals, and the Gourmet Dinner series is evidence of this understanding as we develop refined experiences on the river and an iconic dining destination for many years to come.”

Heralding from Milan, Chef Loris Pistillo will host the gourmet dinners on February 25 and February 26, with a finely balanced, five-course Italian culinary experience offering a “glimpse of Milano” focusing on traditional Italian recipes that have been passed down through the generations from ancient Florence to modern Milan itself.

Three decades of experience and an elaborate seven-course uniquely designed degustation menu awaits guests’ courtesy at the tables attended to by Chef Wu on February 27 and February 28, whose menu zeroes in on authentic Cantonese cuisine, meticulously crafted according to time honoured traditions with light seasonings to allow the freshness and delicate textures to shine through.

Mike Crawford, President of Asia Pacific, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, who will be attending the dinner on February 25, said “We are thrilled to partner with Country Group Development to launch the Gourmet Dinner 2016 as it provides a unique opportunity for the community to experience the new standards of luxury that will be the hallmark of the future development on the banks of the Chao Phraya River.”
